What is a personal chef?
A culinary professional and nutritional consultant who works with you to save you time and money and  to help you create that healthier lifestyle for yourself and your family.

Can’t I bring the food to you?
No. Health Department regulations require cooking to be performed on the premises. Unless a personal chef also has a commercially licensed kitchen they should be cooking in your home.

Do I need to be home on the cooking day?
No. Most clients have hectic schedules.  Entry arrangements will be discussed during the initial interview.

How long will you be in my home?
Cooking times vary.  Depending on your needs and the number of entrées, anywhere between 3 to 8 hours. This includes shopping, unloading, unpacking, cooking, cooling, freezing, labeling, cleanup and pack up.

How will I reheat the food?
We will discuss packaging during the interview.  Generally entrées and sides are packaged individually in containers.  Each container is labeled with the name of the contents and the heating instructions for microwave.

Can I afford it?
YES! Especially when you add up the cost in time and dollars for planning, shopping, cooking, servicing, cleanup and all those groceries you’ve thrown out because they’ve gone bad before you got to them.  That’s not even getting into what you gain in time and what, where and how you choose to use that time.  And, the simple benefit of eating great tasting, healthy, nutritious food in the comfort of your own home, regardless of what time you get there.
